Will Trade Hair Ties for Stirrups

It rained last week.
All.Week.Long.
And to put it plainly,
rain and I don't get along so well.

I'm not a fan of closed-toe shoes.
And I have curly-ish hair.
I know, right?

Bottom Line:
I had to get creative
with my SoCal-meets-actual-weather wardrobe.

Tights and boots, I can do.
Jeans and boots,
Ugh.

It looks cute on everyone else,
but I could just never quite understand
how folks get their jeans to stay tucked in
and to be tucked so nicely.

I got frustrated after 5+ days of solid rain
so I wrapped one hair tie
around each of my ankles
to hold my jeans in place
inside my boots.

Lame? Probably.
Resourceful? Duh!

Do they still make stirrups?
I'm all about that now.

And seriously?
It's raining again today?
Psh. Sandals it is!
